What we're doing on Record Store Day

Record Store Day 2018 is Saturday 21st April and Drift are taking part for the tenth or eleventh year running. We're hazy. Although the day has changed over the years, we still make it as fun as possible and love to catch up with so many of you. We wrote an article about it here.

We know you know the rules by now, but here's a recap;

* We can not reserve, presell or put aside any of the releases. They're not our rules, but we keep to them.

* You can only buy ONE of each exclusive release.

* Lots of high demand titles will sell out in minutes, you'll need to be here early and queuing if you want to guarantee picking up something specific.

* We've bought more stock than ever, but we're only stock 200 of the 500 titles, so please check this page for a guide of what we'll have.

* Drift will be open at 9am and we let in ten (or so) people at a time whilst we work through the queues. This can take a few hours. People start arriving anywhere between 4am and 6am.

This year we'll give away a prize to the first person to post a picture of themselves queuing up, use any social and tag @driftrecordshop.

On the day we'll be serving beer from lunchtime and we've got a few exclusive (one is a world exclusive!) first playbacks of some big forthcoming albums.

Again, browse the releases here (including prices);

All of the releases are INSTORE only. IF we have any stock left they will be available online from 23:59:59 on Friday 27th April.

We're looking forward to it now!
