Recorded at the Jazz Bakery, Los Angeles, in November 1996 and featuring Konitz’s all-star accompanists Brad Mehldau (piano) and Charlie Haden (bass). The album showcases highly original takes on standards such as ‘Round Midnight’, ‘Cherokee’, ‘The Song Is You’, ‘You Stepped Out Of A Dream’ and ‘What Is This Thing Called Love’.
