Hailing from Southend, minimal synth punk duo Warm Boys release their debut self-titled album. Recorded deep in the Essex countryside with John Hannon at NO, Warm Boys is an improvised lurch through minimal synth punk, kosmische and free jazz and includes a cover of Roxy Music's sinister critique of opulence In Every Dream Home A Heartache.
Available on a limited edition cassette.
Warm Boys was made using: Korg MS-20 Mini, Arturia MicroBrute, Casio MT-70, Korg Microkorg, Stylophone Gen X-1, Roland SH-101, Boss DR-110 and various pedals.
Saxophone by George Cleghorn. Artwork by Paul Stride-Noble.
