The starter pistol has been fired, hundreds and hundreds of records have been announced. We do have to talk about it a little bit.
This April (Saturday 12th) will be our seventeenth year celebrating Record Store Day, so we kind of have it down after all this time. Loads of you will have joined us before, but if this is your first time with us, here are the As to all the Qs that you keep phoning up with...
1. Here is the current official list of releases. Bear in mind it'll change between now and the day and there will also be loads of non-offical and import titles that will be discussed too.
2. We will not be stocking everything on the list. Maybe a third at most.

3. If you tell us about a specific thing that you want, we will try and stock it. However...
4. We can’t pre-sell, reserve or otherwise procure any title for you. You have to come and see us in person on the day.
5. We will publish a list of everything that we are stocking at Drift in the weeks before the event.
6. RSD25 is Saturday 12th April. We will open around 9am and people tend to queue from about 5am.
7. If the weather is alright it tends to be a couple of hundred folks. We never know for sure. Tends to be a bit like that first Sex Pistols gig.
8. We agree that RSD doesn't facilitate for people with disabilities, but we don't make the rules. We did however sign a code of conduct and have to follow them.
9. Besides hard commerce, we will be having some guests join us and having some fun in the shop throughout the day. We’ll announce more shortly.
10. If we have stock left (we will), we can sell RSD releases online on Monday 14th April as of 8pm.
