Oscar Jerome - The Fork
A former member of celebrated outft Kokoroko, Jerome has since honed an
articulate, sensitive approach to songwriting, releasing two EPs and LPs and touring
the world following his acclaimed 2022 album The Spoon.
Described by Jerome as "about coming to a reckoning with yourself," The Fork is the
frst record that he has produced entirely himself, maturing a sound that owes as
much to folk troubadours John Martyn and Joni Mitchell as it does to Prince and early
Carlos Santana. His most personal and ambitious record to date, The Fork represents
a deepening of Jerome's experience of the world through music, where a crafted
metaphor or single chord can communicate feelings that are often impossible to
grasp.
