Jessica Winter - Sad Music
Super limited 12" EP of glimmering production.
Description
not by sound but by song. Much of her childhood was spent in isolation, looking out of the window from her hospital bed, from which her vivid imagination grew into a universe. Jessica's inspiration is drawn from robust daily experience and traverses sounds from the 80s, trap, indie, chanteuse and unadulterated pop.
+ Limited edition clear vinyl with lyric sheet insert. Only 200 copies.
Sad Music features Jason Cooper from The Cure playing drums on ‘World On Fire’, with additional saxophone from Alex White of Fat White Family. ‘The Other’ is produced by Jonathan Snipes of Clipping, and helping with the finishing touches on mixing duties is label mate Redinho.
Currently one half of the duo Pregoblin alongside Alex Sebley, Jessica has also written and produced with Jazmin Bean as well as Polish singer Brodka, and toured with Death Grips & Pumarosa.

Drift Recommends
Alongside a weekly playlist of new and old tracks (tune in via the news section), all of the Drift staff also contribute to a weekly 'Drift Recommends' playlist.
Updated every Friday, it's full of new tracks that we love, absolute bangers that have popped back into our heads and all sorts of other weird avenues. It is supposed to sound a little bit like that feeling of walking through the door at Drift.
