Description

Two years on from the sad and untimely passing of Ewan Robertson aka Offshore, his label Big Dada announce the release of a last album from the Aberdonian musician and designer.

The tracks for the new record were all more or less completed before his death in 2012. In its openness, beauty, humour and joyfulness, ‘Offshore’ both hints at what Ewan could have gone on to achieve and celebrates what a unique and lovely human being and musician he was.

There are four unique sleeves being printed for the vinyl edition. The LP is pressed on blue and white marbled vinyl with a printed PVC sleeve. CD and vinyl formats include a CD booklet.

All proceeds are being donated to The Marfan Trust.

Offshore was one half of influential design house Oscar & Ewan, with Offshore behind the cover designs of Wiley’s ‘Playtime Is Over’, Roots Manuva’s ‘Slime & Reason’ and Bonobo’s ‘Black Sands’.

Drift Recommends

Alongside a weekly playlist of new and old tracks (tune in via the news section), all of the Drift staff also contribute to a weekly 'Drift Recommends' playlist.

Updated every Friday, it's full of new tracks that we love, absolute bangers that have popped back into our heads and all sorts of other weird avenues. It is supposed to sound a little bit like that feeling of walking through the door at Drift.
