Record of the week comes to us direct from Memphis, Tennessee (out of the shop/label run by the impeccable Goner Records) and released via our friends Heavenly Recordings. NOTS formed only three short years back and recorded their punchy debut (it's a thrilling 27 minutes) in the summer of 2014 in their hometown with Doug Easley (Sonic Youth, Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, White Stripes, Townes Van Zandt, Guided By Voices). The brilliantly ungrammatical 'We Are Nots' is electrifying lo-fi garage punk.
