Record of the Week is Rosewood Almanac, the beautifully intricate new LP from Will Stratton.
It's his sixth studio LP (he's a good ten years into record making), but his first with Bella Union. We were so taken with him off one song and a nudge back last year that we booked him for the 2017 Sea Change festival. Can't wait for that. It’s a work of fragile magic, a hypnotic combination of beautifully breathy voice and exquisite lyrical imagery, gorgeous melodies and similarly soft-spun instrumentation. There is much serenity.
