Karly Hartzman & MJ Lenderman - Live at Third Man Records

A previously unreleased collection recorded direct-to-acetate during the duo’s 2024 performance at the Blue Room In Nashville, TN. Limited to just 2,000 copies worldwide, the 12-song LP will be available on standard opaque blue vinyl at Third Man Records storefronts, select indie record stores, and the TMR online store on November 28 exclusively for Black Friday 2025.

Karly Hartzman and MJ Lenderman – Live at Third Man Records sees Wednesday founder and songwriter Karly Hartzman and acclaimed singer-songwriter guitarist MJ Lenderman performing music from both the Wednesday catalog as well as Lenderman’s own evolving solo body of work. Highlights include spirited renditions of such fan favorites as “How Do You Let the Love Into the Heart That Isn’t Split Wide Open,” “She’s Leaving You,” “Formula One,” “Feast of Snakes,” “TLC Cage match,” “Chosen to Deserve,” and more.

The performance – held during 2024’s AMERICANAFEST – was recorded direct-to-acetate in Third Man Records’ Blue Room in Nashville, TN and cut exclusively on a 1955 Scully lathe that originally came from King Records in Cincinnati. Recorded live in one-shot, with no overdubs, no redo's, no starting-and-stopping, the process is truly of another time, rendered obsolete by the late 1950's and only available nowadays in TMR's locations in Detroit and Nashville.
