Small Plant - Neighbouring Trees

"Get ready to be transported back into our Small Plant world with our second album, ‘neighbouring trees’. We will take you foraging in a mossy woodland, exploring on the windy moor and swimming through kelp forests. Making kimchi, sourdough bread and a baby!

For this album we upgraded our recording set up to our friend James Hoare’s studio in Totnes, where we laid down our songs on to a 60’s 2” tape machine! The reeeal deaaal! If you loved our first album, then you’ll be happy to know; theres plenty more finger-picked guitar, plonky banjo, airy xaphoon and killer drum beats all topped off with our fun whimsical vocals, recorded when Esmae was 9 months pregnant and the backing vocals we laid down while breastfeeding a newborn in the studio :-)"

P.S The beautiful album artwork is a pencil drawing by rowlie, inspired by the trees on the Sharpham estate, just across the river from us.
