Bob Dylan completionists rejoice: Columbia Records has announced the latest installment of the long-running Bootleg Series. Vol. 10: Another Self Portrait is out August 27, and it collects rarities and unreleased tracks from 1969-1971.
It features work Dylan did surrounding the release of 1970's Self Portrait and New Morning. The deluxe edition also includes his entire 1969 Isle of Wight concert with the Band. According to The New York Times, the album art attached is a new painting by Dylan. The trailer for the compilation (below) says it features unheard collaborations between Dylan and George Harrison. Check out the tracklist below.
The deluxe edition will come packaged with a newly remastered version of Self Portrait, plus two hardcover books including "revisionist" liner notes by Greil Marcus. (Marcus' original opening line about Self Portrait: "What is this shit?".) It's also getting released on vinyl as a triple LP with a 12" x 12" booklet.
