Revisiting the one true queen of England's 1996 studio collaboration with musical mate, storied international producer-provocateur (and Yoevil's most famous son), Mr John Parish.
Reissue on vinyl of the first collaboration album between PJ Harvey and John Parish – 'Dance Hall At Louse Point'. (Which is still an amazing title after all these years.)
Produced by Parish and Harvey, and originally released in September 1996, Dance Hall At Louse Point features the single ‘That Was My Veil’.
This reissue is faithful to the original recording with vinyl cutting by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering, overseen by John Parish.
John Parish is a composer/producer/artist/collaborator who over the past twenty years has contributed to more than fifty albums, toured globally with PJ Harvey, Eels and his own bands, and written and recorded music for film, television and stage.
Polly Jean "PJ" Harvey, MBE is an English musician and singer-songwriter, originally from Dorset. Primarily known as a vocalist and guitarist, she is also proficient with a wide range of instruments, composes music, soundtracks, as well as draws, paints & sculpts.
