Record Store day lands this year on Saturday April 16th and this is the full UK list of releases.
As ever with RSD, there are hundreds of releases (many of which we will be stocking) that cover most genres and all levels of obscurity... the day is all about everyone finding something new and picking it up in a record shop. The list is pretty full on, so we've picked out a few bits that we're really stoked on;
Couple of Bert Jansch 7" singles, the Earth one looks especially good. All of the Sub Pop releases, plus superb compilations from Soul Jazz Records and Too Pure. Mac DeMarco demos is a must have, likewise the self titled Field Music LP. Big Star Live at University of Missouri would have us queuing up, as would the stunning Light in the Attic Heartworn Highways 40th anniversary suitcase. Deftones rarities looks good, also extended Daft Punk mix of Junior Kimbrough and we'd not be without our buddies Trembling Bells.
Lastly (for now), a customised Run The Jewels Virtual Reality Viewer... where do we sign?
