A band we're really into, the laid back Ultimate Painting. Green Lanes is their second album following on from their splendid self-titled album last year (they already have most of a third in the can, read our interview on the Deluxe blog). Formed as a loose collaboration by Jack Cooper (Mazes) & James Hoare (Veronica Falls) the project quickly turned into a full-fledged band. This new long player picks up where they left off with noodling jams and loose vibes, but overall it is a lot more melancholic.
