This week's set of releases was pretty major. You already read this, we know, but we actually have a good stash of things that missed the deadline but really need a good raving about.
Firstly the Deathprod Occulting Disk album is MAJOR. Some of the darkest ambience in ages, utterly amazing drones.
The Jim Sullivan reissues - Self Titled and If The Evening Were Dawn - on LITA are pretty essential. Look out for some glowing press on them this month.
Another excellent reissue from Third Man with Jonathan Fire*Eater's Tremble Under Boom Lights.
We also had the OTTO - Over The Top Orchestra - album, Black Marble's Bigger Than Life via Sacred Bones, Ghostface Killah returns, the OM BBC session (a tasty little 10") and lastly a colour pressing of the Rex Orange Country PONY LP.
Oh, a little stock bump on the (limited) Thom Yorke, Flea, & Wynton Marsalis - Daily Battles 7" too!
