On Tuesday 31st March we welcome you to a special edition of Drift Record Club, it'll be a pre-release playback for the forthcoming Brain Rays album.
Brain Rays is the solo project of Benjamin Hudson (usually one half of noisy hip hop duo Baconhead, friend and neighbour of Drift) and is a soundtrack for low lights and late nights. Featuring the silken tones of Nigerian vocalist Theo Ogundipe, and Cape Khoboi's melted guitar, Brain Rays' debut album Music For Abandoned Beach Parties warps lo-fi house and funk to provide a warm and gentle hand back onto the dance floor when logic would have screamed at you to leave the party several hours ago.
