Rolling into July with a corking new set of the newness.

Hello, Friends.

We're starting off today's new release mailer with Cave World, our July Record of the Month from Stockholm post-punks Viagra Boys. It's a swaggering stomper and we've written a little bit more about it here.

+ In the shop now and available on limited Red or Green colour vinyl pressings.

A new week and a new Record of the Week with Katy J Pearson's swooning Sound Of The Morning. You all know very well that we're firm fans, but her sonic and creative expansion between her debut and this new LP is super-impressive. She has a country lilt to her voice, but the whole experience is richer and fuller, with some out-there production to match her ambitious writing.

+ Available on both Purple and White Marble and Clear colour vinyl pressings.

Leeds based art-rockers Mush return this week with Down Tools and it's a riot. They are such an underrated band and we implore you all to add this banging new album to the top of your listening pile this week, you'll totally thank us later. Wonky, woozy and pretty wonderful.

+ Indie LPs are pressed on yellow marble vinyl.
+ Indie LPs include a very limited signed bonus CD.

Mush - Down Tools

Another MASSIVELY underrated band was Ought. For those of you who missed them, don't make the same mistake with Cola, the phoenix rising from the Montreal band's flames. Deep In View is the debut LP from the trio Tim Darcy (vocals, guitar), Ben Stidworthy (bass) and Evan Cartwright (drums) of the disbanded Ought. Really good pace to it, a unique mix of driving and leisurely with everything locking into a hypnotic wooze. Darcy still brings high drama with his phrasing and this really is an impressive and alluring debut.

+ Pressed on Cloudy Clear colour vinyl.

LOGGERHEAD  is the Warp debut from South London vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Miles Romans-Hopcraft as Wu-Lu. This is such a vibe, murky and abstract music that moves with such dexterity between genre and style. Routed in hip-hop, but that's just the jump-off point here. A trip.

+ LP orders include a signed, double-sided, 12x12" print and "Where's Wu-Lu" oversize sticker.
+ Indie LP pressed on light green turtle coloured vinyl.

Talking Therapy Ensemble is the latest project from composer, bandleader, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Emma-Jean Thackray... and it is WILD! The mini album features Binker Golding on saxophone, Matt Gedrych on bass and Dougal Taylor on drums, an improvised tour de force with ideas that crackle like fireworks.

Stay Proud of Me is the debut album from LA-based, Korean-American artist NoSo. Some really great songs here and a lot of subtlety. Fans of Phoebe Bridgers, Soccer Mommy and Lucy Dacus will be made up.

+ Available on a limited Pink Galaxy coloured vinyl pressing.
+ LP orders include a signed art print.

Laura Veirs returns in vitalised form for her 12th studio LP, Found Light. Vocally she sounds pretty amazing.

+ Available on a limited Pink Galaxy coloured vinyl pressing.

Katy J Pearson - Sound Of The Morning

High School is a concept album about adolescence from comedian-turned-musician Tim Heidecker. Co-produced with a backing band of Drew Erickson, Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats, and Mac DeMarco, it rolls along with a real breeze. Guest appearances from Jonathan Rado and Kurt Vile too.

Finger-picker and American Primitive extraordinaire Glenn Jones releases a beautiful new set called Vade Mecum on Thrill Jockey. Really lush.

Jim, I’m Still Here is the second album from James Righton (formerly of Klaxons) under his own name. Produced by David & Stephen Dewaele of Soulwax and released on their label DEEWEE.

Freedom is the new LP from electronic jazz pioneer, pianist, producer and re-mixer Mark de Clive-Lowe.

Sunset Dreams is the new six-track EP from Jane Weaver, featuring unreleased tracks from the ‘Flock’ sessions and remixes from W.H. Lung and See Thru Hands.

Reissues this week include Half Speed Master editions of The Who's The Who Sell Out and TommyArt PepperMadlib and the previously unreleased Toast from Neil Young With Crazy Horse.
