Produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse) in Bristol, a world away from her New Zealand home, Party introduces a new talent to the stark, dramatic realm where Kate Bush and Scott Walker reside. Her vocals are stunning, like.. honestly full body arresting. The vocal lift in Imagining My Man nearly made me cry when I first heard it... it ends with a brushed cymbal that sounds like a sigh...

Such a unique and addictive combination of intimate and otherworldly. Realy quite brilliant.
