We’re starting 2024 off with an absolute peach. January’s Record of the Month is lechyd Da from Bill Ryder-Jones, absolutely one of our most wonderful voices.
“Iechyd Da" (a fond pre-drink good wish as our good mates at Spillers Records told us) is just an absolute treasure. It’s an album of such richness, with moments of whispered intimacy and joyous crescendo across a beautifully written set of songs. We don’t often say it, but it’s an instant classic.
