Preoccupations is a self-titled debut that we are really pumped on. The band have made some of our most favourite albums of the last few years, initially as part of Women and most recently under the name Viet Cong. Preoccupations is one of those rare records that sounds incredibly familiar but ultimately much like nothing in particular. This week we must have listened to it about ten times, often back to back, it creates am amazing sonic wooze.
I think wherever you come from, or whenever you grew up... you'll hear something in Preoccupations that will remind you of that time, it is visceral, emotive music and it is really quite brilliant.
