Kristin Hersh’s celebrated debut album Hips & Makers is getting a first-ever reissue on RSD 24 to coincide with its 30th anniversary. Being spread across two records, the album has been reconfigured for optimum playback seeing the album, three tracks from the Your Ghost EP and a bonus track (‘Hysterical Bending’) appearing on the first 3 sides and then the full Strings EP (including previously orphaned track ‘The Key’) on the 4th side. Reflecting its original design, this new edition comes in a gatefold sleeve and is being pressed on bottle green vinyl.

When is this released?

Kristin Hersh - Hips and Makers is released as part of Record Store Day 2024.

It will be available physically in the shop from 9am on Saturday 20th April 2024. Any remaining stock will then be made available at 8pm on Monday 22nd April 2024.

Can I pre order a copy?

Drift, like all participating shops, are bound by the RSD code of conduct. We are unable to pre sell or reserve any RSD titles.

So, how do I get one?

Drift will be open at 9am on Saturday 20th April and you need to come and see us in person. There will be a queue and we try and make it as much fun as possible.

Any remaining stock will be made available at 8pm on Monday 22nd April and you will be able to purchase copies via this page.
