In these first few days of 2022 - when we're making lists and promises - we wanted to take five minutes to talk about what we know (and think we know) about 2022 on record.
Big Wheels Keep On Turning. We looked at the schedule (which you are all well growing to understand is somewhat fluid) and picked out some few dozen albums and artists we're really excited about. Lots of these we've heard and really can't wait to rave more about. Lots we've heard just enough to get us excited. What we have concluded already, musically, 2022 is going to be a corker. You can browse and shop many of these here: driftrecords.com/preorder

Sea Change and other live arts
Against all odds, in 2021 we actually brought more live music to the area than ever before. Standalone events with Damon Albarn, Gruff Rhys and Squid, plus our pilot one day town takeover that included; Stephen Fretwell, JOHN, White Flowers, Mirry, Anna B Savage, H. Hawkline, Anna Phoebe, Breathe Panel, DJxKWF and Naima Bock alongside dozens of guest speakers and DJs.
2022 in our area is going to sound amazing, this we promise! We will finally bring you Pip Blom, plus we have Metronomy joining us in February and half a dozen more shows planned before we bring it all back home in Totnes with Sea Change 2022 in May. We have already announced that the inimitable Chilly Gonzales will be joining us in Devon to launch the May 2022 Sea Change event and we just can't wait to tell you more... We've outdone ourselves!
Tickets are on sale now, we'll start talking about confirmed artists later this month.
We'll keep opening Drift little and often, and advise on what the visiting protocol is. We've been working on a number of big site developments and can't wait to get them live for you, we also have new contributions from the skilled and expanding Drift crew of staff.
So here is to 2022. We hope you all rested up and feel enthused, we do!
