Your weekly look backwards at what is newly arriving. Make sense?

Hello, Friends.

An absolute belter from the vaults this week on Real Gone Music, with Experience and Judgment, the 1973 soul/jazz classic from Andy Bey. It's got high spiritual energy, but such a rocking strut to his vocals. We've been playing this one for months now, it's been such a joy to find it. TUNE UP!

+ Reissued on a Sea Blue colour vinyl pressing to match the album cover and the mood!

We did start talking about this one the other week, but another of this week's (or any week's) biggest hitters is the 30th Anniversary Edition of Pavement's evergreen debut LP, Slanted & Enchanted. Matador have done a really handsome job on this one, a very limited red and white splatter vinyl pressing that really does add to that iconic sleeve.

Anyway, big shock; Drift loves Pavement... But, any of you who aren't disciples yet... Please give it a spin, it might change your life!

Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted [30th Anniversary Edition]

A couple of reissues from the more recent Lambchop vaults this week, with 2008's OH (Ohio) (on 'Curacao Blue' colour vinyl) and the band's 2012 album Mr. M (on Silver colour vinyl). OH (Ohio) is a real stylistic tour-de-force through the Lambchop canon and Mr. M sounds like a parallel universe where Kurt Wagner is singing to the silver screen. We know you know, but there are few bands who can get close to Lambchop's swoon.

Sounding pretty on-point on these hot summer nights, Partisan have reissued the self-titled Cigarettes After Sex debut LP. We have a limited Clear vinyl pressing here now, an equally limited White colour pressing will follow in November.

Lastly today, industrial legends Coil reissue their 2000 album Constant Shallowness Leads To Evil with a lush, double Clear vinyl edition on Dais.
