The superb PJ Harvey reissue series continues with her sixth studio LP Uh Huh Her. Raw, vital and almost entirely self-recorded, it's such a great album and the accompanying demos are as fascinating as any in the series so far.
A double Can reissue today on limited edition colour vinyl. Delay 1968 is a compilation of mostly previously-unissued, early recordings during Malcolm Mooney's time as singer. Future Days is Can's fourth studio album and the last to feature Damo Suzuki.
A beautifully-weird jangler from the OH SEE vaults, with The Oh Sees' (as they were then) Sucks Blood, the first release on their fledgling Castle Face records.
BBE Music present the latest in the acclaimed J Jazz Masterclass Series with Kohsuke Mine's First, the debut album by one of the leading artists in the new wave of modern jazz that swept Japan in the late 60s and early 70s. He was one of the many standout artists for us on the brilliant J Jazz compilation, this really has got us on a high.
A cult record here, finally getting a repress with Life Without Buildings' Any Other City turning twenty. It was the only album recorded in their brief existence and originally released on the Rough Trade-affiliated Tugboat Records. If you haven't heard it, it really still sounds like no one else. Imaginative, mathsy and genuinely idiosyncratic.
Big Legal Mess / Fat Possum reissue an absolute Blues classic, with Junior Kimbrough First Recordings. First time on vinyl with two additional takes from the original sessions.
Another Peter Murphy double on Beggars Banquet with Should The World Fail To Fall Apart and Love Hysteria both back in press (and looking handsome on coloured wax!).
Mute release This Is Telex, a brand new compilation collecting 14 tracks from the innovative Belgium trio, covering their career from formation in 1978 up to the final album in 2006. This limited edition 2LP is pressed on Shrimp Pink and Fern Green colour vinyl.
Heading into the weekend we wanted to update on a few bits that have just landed, to include; Adrian Crowley's The Watchful Eye Of The Stars on Chemikal Underground. Girl In Red's really good debut LP If I Could Make It Quiet. Guided By Voices' (possibly 33rd album) Earth Man Blues on their own Guided By Voices Inc. We have just a few more of Waxahatchee's smashing Saint Cloud from last year. Any of you who missed out on the Sleep 420 drops will be pleased to know we have more of the classic black vinyl on the shelves. The double colour one is late (and sold out), but shipping ASAP for you.
Trunk release Roger Webb's Bartleby soundtrack and it really is a treat. Jonny Trunk himself explains; "Unreleased until now and super duper wow. Like British pastoral jam with killer drums, bass and percussion. Just dying for some huge hip hop producer to come and piss all over it, in a good way. This record is the hidden monster, the one killer OST no one saw or heard." Please note, this one is super limited.
One that we raved about a few months ago is now in the building, with Copenhagen-based, Scottish-born composer Clarissa Connelly’s absolutely excellent The Voyager. A beautiful combination of complex and primitive, this is fantastic stuff.

What an excellent set. We're battling to get the shop shipshape to welcome you all back in, we're also trying desperately to get all of the Metronomy LPs into the post for you all.
