This week is plentiful. Lots of new things in all sorts of directions, couple of instant classics.

Hello, Friends.

Record of the Week is an album that we have been playing to death and will no doubt be doing so all year long. Kevin Morby returns with Oh my God, and it is a slow building masterpiece. His fifth solo LP is all centred around his laconic drawl, a sort of conversational gospel. It's brilliantly paced, little returning motifs throughout and what seems freewheeling all has both eyes on a slow build and a really tightly wound narrative. Brilliant writing and such stylish delivery.

A reminder that Oh My God is the tenth exclusive Dinked Edition that we have released. We have a handful left as;

+ Limited to 500 copies.
+ Numbered.
+ Exclusive double LP pressed on opaque red coloured vinyl.
+ Bespoke alternative art with different lettering.
+ Includes bonus CD.
+ Includes 12 x 12" art print.

We are massive fans of Aldous Harding. We imported tons of her debut and played it to anyone that would listen. We invited her to Totnes for our Sea Change Festival to play her breakthrough 'Party' album. This week, even having listened to it for a couple of months now, we are still blown away by her utterly brilliant new Designer album. It is so smart, not a wasted second with brilliantly structured songs... it's also got some very fun moments. Don't say it often, but it's an instant classic.

+ Limited gold vinyl pressing for us indie shops. One time edition, don't miss out.
+ Aldous plays this years Caught By The River stage at the Port Eliot Festival.

You Can't Steal My Joy is the debut LP from Ezra Collective, one of the leading lights in the new wave of UK Jazz. A hypnotic fusion of styles, big, cool and full of drive. Guest appearances from Jorja Smith and Loyle Carner are both really good.

+ Limited Indies exclusive white vinyl pressing.

Tourist is the debut album from South Londoners Blueprint Blue. It is such a chiller, really lovely roll to it this album. Big feel good summer jams, one of those bands that are doing really complex things and making it all sound really easy.

Aldous Harding - Designer

sThe ever excellent Foxygen return with Seeing Other People. As ever, they take everything you think you know about them and fly off at a tangent with gestures and tones from all over the place. Production is perfect, holds it all together.

+ Limited Indie deluxe edition is a double LP pressed on pink coloured vinyl. The second disc contains demos for the album. Both discs are housed in a gatefold sleeve with alternate album artwork.

Structuralism is a double LP of entirely new material from the incredible Alfa Mist. We love this guy. As vivid as anything in contemporary jazz, but in a more subtle way, meditative and full of head space. Guest vocals from Jordan Rakai and Kaya Thomas-Dyke are also both excellent.

We mentioned that the Fat White Family's Tastes Good With the Money 10" would be landing... it has. It's right bloody good. Restock on the indie exclusive LP too if you're quick!

Our buds Heavenly have provided us some copies of the next house bag 12", Mildlife's How Long Does It Take? including Baldelli & Dionigi remixes.

In The Capital / Read My Mind is a double A-side 7" single of new licks from the insanely-good janglers RBCF

SOAK returns after 4 years with a new album, Grim Town, bringing with her 4 years worth of growth, introspection and understanding.

+ Limited Indie version comes bundled with a bonus 7"

In League with Dragons is the seventeenth album form the most excellent Mountain Goats. It's a huge sort of post D&D rock opera, hugely euphoric with some really really addictive tracks.

+ 2LP Indie exclusive coloured vinyl edition (green and black) in a gatefold sleeve.

+ 'Hardcore 2LP' + 7" Indie exclusive is pressed on yellow and green marble vinyl album (7" single is black vinyl) in gatefold jacket housed in a debossed, dragon scale slipcase + Dragon League membership card.

The seven-headed Aussie rock beast King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard return with Fishing for Fishies, perhaps their most perfectly-realised album to date.

+ The limited LP is on Swamp Green vinyl

Blueprint Blue - Tourist

Still so much to take in!

Upset The Rhythm team up with Goner Records to release Drecksound, the debut LP from Memphis band Hash Redactor, feat. members of Nots and Ex-Cult.

London-based psychedelic stalwarts Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation release their third album Sacred Dreams on Rocket Recordings.
