A chilly howdy from Drift, with new releases to warm your stereo.

Hello, Friends.

Our first Record of the Week for December is Luca, the solo debut LP from Alex Maas of The Black Angels. Such a great set this, his voice is unmistakable and the soul-baring tracks are warmly produced and super engaging. Gently paced, it really does cast a lush vibe.

Arctic Monkeys release a Live At The Royal Albert Hall this week, an absolutely epic live album from Sheffield's finest, with all proceeds going to War Child.

+ Available on very limited double clear vinyl if you're quick.

Richard Norris started the Music For Healing series in lockdown, releasing one calming, anxiety relieving track each week for three months. Available on a VERY limited CD edition (including an augmented reality 3D sleeve)Music For Healing is very special indeed, spiritual music.

Deafheaven would have been on the road this year, celebrating ten years of pure brutal energy. That didn't happen, so they instead recorded 10 Years Gone, a live set from Atomic Garden that would have formed those shows. Man alive, it's pure SMASH.

+ Available on limited green and yellow swirl vinyl.
