White Lies - Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave, and Jack Lawrence-Brown – have today announced details of their seventh album, Night Light, which is released via Play It Again Sam on Friday 7th November 2025.
Having previously released ‘Nothing On Me, the West London based trio have today shared ‘In The Middle’, the latest single to be lifted from the long-player.
The album’s closer and its most propulsive track, ‘In The Middle’ flies with a Motorik rhythm, pulsing synths, driving bass and soaring vocals, before fittingly reaching a crescendo with an instrumental outro that fizzes with musical instinct and inter-band telepathy. Talking about the track, the band said:
The lyrics to the verses for In The Middle have been written in notebooks for nearly a decade, waiting for the right vessel, which has finally presented itself in this hypnotic and locomotive piece of music. It's a song about moving, not necessarily moving on, but moving to another emotional place needed for growth. It also gives you another taste of our musical growth on this forthcoming album where we fully let our hair and scalps down to embrace a more experimental side of arrangement. And, by the way, it's a saxophone, not a flute.

When is this released?

In the event of any delays to this date, we will try to keep this page updated in the '⚠ Updates' tab.
When will I get it?
We ship pre order items to arrive with you on or as close as possible to release day. We are limited naturally by when the stock arrives with us in Totnes, but we work hard to ship them in a timely fashion.

What is the discount?
