Talking about the single ‘Willows Song’, Katy said: “Strangely, I heard The Wicker Man soundtrack way before I watched the movie. I remember my dad playing me Willow’s Song and I found it hypnotic and it started being a song I listened to a lot. The version I did for the record was a kind of psychedelic/ krautrock version so having the opportunity to work with my friends Broadside Hacks on a traditional cover which they put together so beautifully has been really brilliant. I’m such a fan so it’s an honour to be involved in the 50th anniversary of The Wicker Man.”

When is this released?
Katy J Pearson - Katy J Pearson & Friends Presents Songs From The Wicker Man is released as part of Record Store Day 2024.
It will be available physically in the shop from 9am on Saturday 20th April 2024. Any remaining stock will then be made available at 8pm on Monday 22nd April 2024.
Can I pre order a copy?
Drift, like all participating shops, are bound by the RSD code of conduct. We are unable to pre sell or reserve any RSD titles.

So, how do I get one?
Drift will be open at 9am on Saturday 20th April and you need to come and see us in person. There will be a queue and we try and make it as much fun as possible.
Any remaining stock will be made available at 8pm on Monday 22nd April and you will be able to purchase copies via this page.
